Our Story

Night Blossom was an idea borne out of many, many hours of trying to entertain my young daughters with lockdown crafts, having just taken a career break from the corporate world. I began to get more ideas for bracelets and jewellery than their kits would allow. In particular, whether it would be possible to incorporate Arabic letters and words as well as natural stones.

I’ve loved the beauty of the Arabic script since my now husband first gifted me a necklace with my name in Arabic when we first started dating. Many (many) years later and my Arabic is still a work in progress but I wanted to develop a brand which showcased the beauty of the script and symbols used, in a stylish and timeless way. 

The name is a play on the two most important ladies in my life; my eldest, Leila, who’s name means night in Arabic and Jasmin, which is a beautiful smelling flower (Blossom). As a family, and a brand, the blend of English and Arabic is important to us. I started Night Blossom as a way of tying together the beautiful Arabic calligraphy with easy to wear and gift; bracelets and jewellery.
